  1. Hi Dionne, I love your art!  My name is also Dionne McLean (married name), and have also decided to become a lampworker. I always ran restaraunts and night clubs, and as with most over workers, started having heart attacks, 6 all together. I did somehow survive, and when I turned 50, said ok, now it is my turn, and bought a hothead and some 104. Have had many set backs, but am far to addicted to stop, so I am about to turn the torch on again for the first time in two years. I can use either boro or 104 now, but have a really lousy kiln, so use vermiculite. My skills are mediocure due to all of the off and on crap because of health stuff, but am determined. It has been said that I am as stubborn as an army mule with a nail in her head. I am also going back to school to learn glass working and computer skills. Your work is not only incredible, but your web site is too. I use the name Dee if that helps, but will be eternally grateful for all I can learn from you. Sorry for rambling on and on, but I have always believed there are no coincidences. I found you for a reason. I was just trying to set up a new phone, and you were the first thing to come up. The Thanks, Dee McLean. The heavens smiled on me. I smiled too, but was jealous as all get out.

Hi Ever After I'm a very basic bead maker & have found your site a real inspiration, I just love your work. I am from Queensland in Australia & love looking at all Glass. I think the sculpting is so lovely. I would love to be on your mailing list for tutorial info. I am doing fusing & casting is next. I would love to do some beads, hoping they turn out nearly as good as yours. Wishing you more lovely beads from June

After reading about the Artist, I know that I'm not alone! lol I've been looking for a new craft to do and I think that I have found it. Your imagination certainly comes through. Here's hoping I'll be working in the flame soon too.

About time for little bunnies again, Laurie! But I do love the little froggies too! I can truly say that I "knew you when". I miss you not being in Phoenix anymore. And I miss the visits with you and your Mom! Jo
